WTC 2030 - GfT und Swiss Tribology will host the World Tribology Congress 2030
At its meeting on 20 September 2026, the Executive Committee of the International Tribology Council (ITC) decided to award the WTC 2030 to Germany and Switzerland.
Hosting ITC’s prestigious World Tribology Congress staged every four years aligns with the strategic plans of GfT and SwissTrib.
The main congress is planned to take place in Munich from 16 to 20 September 2030, with a satellite meeting on tribochemistry and tribocorrosion in Zurich from 11 to 13 September 2030.
